Thanks in part to a donation from Polaris Energy Nicaragua S.A. (PENSA), students in Telica will be able to learn under a new roof. Their education centre, built in 2008, was in need of extensive repair. In addition to the roof, the repairs included new windows, walls, and ceilings. With the upgrades, sixty-eight students who attend the centre will benefit from an enhanced learning environment. On May 17th, Marc Murnaghan, the Chief Executive Officer of Polaris Infrastructure Inc. (the parent company of PENSA) joined the mayor of Telica, Marbelys Rios and officials from the Ministry of Education to inaugurate the refurbished centre.
